Under the umbrella of the Lanco Group, Western Pacific crane & Equipment is a sister company of Walter Payton Power Equipment, which has been Manitowoc’s dealer to the American Midwest for the last seven years.

Manitowoc’s executive vice president, Larry Weyers, called Walter Payton Power Equipment ‘a leading Crane Care Elite dealer’, referring to Manitowoc’s award for international, high standards of training, service and parts facilities.

“We are confident that this emphasis on customer service and support will continue with the addition of Western Pacific Crane and Equipment and we are very pleased to welcome them as our west coast distributor,” said Weyers.

The territories Western Pacific Crane & Equipment covers are California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska and Hawaii. Outside of the mainland, it serves western Canada, Guam and the Marshall Islands.

The appointed dealer will sell, rent, service and support all Manitowoc lattice boom cranes, Grove mobile telescopic cranes (including rough-terrain, industrial, all terrain cranes), and National Crane boom trucks.

Its range excludes the Potain tower crane line, which will continue to be sold by Coast Crane Company, a subsidiary of Essex rental corporation.
