Although the firm has often sold cranes designed in Italy by sister firm Masol, this crane was redesigned from the Masol 2309 in Ireland with cooperation from the engineering department of the University of Ulster at Jordanstown. It is the Ireland firm’s first, and starts a new programme.

The MC 25 delivers a 1t load to 20m (65ft), and 750kg to 25m with a maximum hook height of 19m.

The crane is designed for builders of houses and light steel structures. It is a self-contained unit on a road-going chassis with fixed ballast. One articulated tractor rig can move the entire 20t rig in a single journey.

Six pre-existing orders are expected to be filled by September.
