Since the beginning of the year, upper management at the company has changed dramatically. Former CEO Terry Growcock has retired, allowing former president Glenn Tellock to rise to CEO, and former executive vice-president of Asia Eric Etchart to rise to president. Executive vice president John Wheeler is now global operations executive vice president, and former head of Crane Care Larry Weyers is executive vice president of the Americas. In January, former vice president of worldwide marketing Larry Bryce has become vice president of business development, and ex-Caterpillar Robert Hund has taken over his old role. In June he was promoted again, to the head of service organisation Crane Care.
The global product managers report to Hund.
“Our global product managers will complement our existing product managers. They will ensure that new and existing cranes meet global market needs and fulfill our company objectives,” he said. “These individuals were chosen because of their knowledge of global market dynamics. Their job is to synthesize regional strategies into a global vision and work with product and marketing management to offer our customers the most innovative lifting equipment on a global basis.”
David Havard most recently served as product manager for Potain self-erecting cranes, while Neil Hollingshead is returning to MCG.
