MCG said that it has managed to ensure that there has been no break in the provision of service within the UK and Irish markets throughout the liquidation process. This, it said, extends to even keeping continuation of ongoing jobs without any consequences to the customer.
Operating under direction from MCG’s existing administrative facility in Sunderland, UK, seven of these technicians are now working exclusively on Grove products and the other is working in the Potain tower crane division.
Parts sales will be handled direct from the Sunderland facility where retained staff have extensive knowledge and experience of the product. MCG also acquired the services of the Samuel Walker spare parts manager, who, operating from Sunderland will ensure that the supply of parts both for warranty and commercial work continues smoothly.
Parts will be supplied either directly from the Decines, France logistics centre or from a newly established warehouse in Sunderland.
