The TMS760E models, owned by Richmond, Virginia, US-based rental company, W O Grubb, were supplied to the University of Virginia’s Charlotte campus and show organiser and main contractor, Cellar Door Productions. The company put the cranes to work setting up and dismantling the stage before and after the show and also used them to erect the sound mixing booths and lighting towers for the concert.
The TMS760E has a maximum capacity of 60t (60 USt), a four-section 33.5m (110ft) Megaform boom, and a maximum tip height of 64.6m (212ft) with the aid of extensions.
