Manitowoc Crane Group (UK) and Bank of Scotland Corporate’s asset finance division have formed an alliance to provide funding for MCG’s customers. Under the deal, UK buyers of Grove mobile telescopic cranes, Potain tower cranes, and Manitowoc crawler cranes will have direct access to the bank’s construction funding specialists.

Steve Barnett, managing director – sales/operations for Cowley, Middlesex-based Manitowoc Crane Group (UK), said: “We feel that the Bank of Scotland Corporate construction team’s knowledge base and range of funding solutions are second to none and this, in conjunction with our own specialist capabilities within the lifting solutions industry, means that we can be confident in bringing a complete package to our customers and prospects in the UK.”

The association is designed to bring what MCG described as “a total product-funding solution” to end-users and rental companies.
