The battery is built into a rugged and rain-resistant Peli Case that weighs 13kg (29 lbs). The battery can provide up to 30A at 12V DC and 30 seconds of surge current at 80A. provides up to 2,000 cycles to an 80% discharge.
The box contains a mono-block battery, instead of many small 3.7V cells soldered together. The Merlin PowerCentre’s cathode technology prevents overloading and overheating. An internal control system monitors battery capacity and shuts the battery down when overcharged.
The box also contains all the charging technology to recharge from any 230V AC source, or a 12V vehicle or even optional solar panel.
