Two new sponsors have signed up to the conference as well. Load weighing systems manufacturer LSI is sponsoring the lunch on January 30, and tower crane manufacturer Wolffkran, equipment dealer Kanoo and crane rental company Johnson Arabia have teamed up to sponsor the lunch on January 31.

This conference, Cranes Today’s second, will again be held in the Shangri-La hotel in Dubai, UAE.

Other confirmed speakers include Houssam Zamman, chief inspector for certified body TUV, Alex Mullins, managing director of Al Jaber Heavy Lift, Shata Mahdiyone and Paul King of the World Crane Forum, Dr Frank Jauch of Pfeifer, wire rope maintenance, Mike Bage of Manitowoc Crane Group and Keith Rainford of Ace Crane Systems Dubai.

The conference’s event partner is Al Jaber Heavy Lift and associate partners are CCC and Terex-Demag.

The first annual Middle East Cranes conference was held in February 2007.

A new web site, www.middleeastcranes.com, has been set up for the event, which is managed by the publishers of Cranes Today.
