The greatest challenge for the driver and the crane was the access to the construction site. Only thanks to the compact design and electronic travel aids of the Liebherr MK 63 could the driver manoeuvre the crane via a small ramp to the site, according to Liebherr.

The MK 63 was used on this construction site to support the work of tower cranes lifting structural elements. Its bigger sibling, the MK 100, whose jib is visible in the background, was also at work there. The MK 63 has a maximum lifting capacity of 8t, or 1.8t at 36m jib-end. The MK 100 has the same maximum lifting capacity, but can lift 1.8t out to 52m.
