The boom of the crane crashed onto a nearby parking lot, narrowly missing parked vehicles. Nobody was hurt.
A spokesman for Joyce Cranes, the rental company that owns the crane, told Cranes Today: “Since the accident we have heard numerous incorrect stories with bad or uninformed information [about the incident].”
The company refuses to elaborate while investigations are ongoing.
The site was operational again the following day.
