Liebherr says the mobile harbour crane market is an important field of expansion for the group and that the Middle East has seen “tremendous growth” at ports in recent years due to an increase in global trade through the area. Thus, it said, the importance of an efficient infrastructure has increased. “The Liebherr solutions are an integral part of AGAM’s transport and supply chain and enables them more efficient and reliable handling of containerised cargo in Kuwait and to and from the surrounding countries,” according to Liebherr.
