Distributor appointment enables Russian equipment supplier to diversify lifting equipment supply in the east of Russia

Russian construction equipment supplier Modern Machinery Far East has been appointed an authorised Terex Cranes distributor for Russia’s Far East region.

Modern Machinery will supply Terex’s full range of rough terrain cranes, and offer spare parts and machinery maintenance, throughout the Russian Far East – a region in the easternmost part of Russia, and part of Northeast Asia.

Modern Machinery has operated in Russia for over 28 years during which time it says it has supplied more than 3000 units of equipment, with customers comprising mining, construction, road, port, logging and communal enterprises.

The company has 20 service centres with 24-hour support across its distribution area and employs more than 350 service mechanics who regularly undergo training at certified training centres. It owns has more than 140 technical support vehicles, including mobile workshops for repair in the field, and off-road cars.
