Morrow Equipment, owner of the largest fleet of tower cranes in North America, has signed a strategic partnership with Simlog, a developer of crane operator training simulators.
Simlog will work with Morrow to develop new tower crane training simulation featuring the 3D modelling of the Liebherr. EC-H top-slewing tower crane.
Morrow vice president Ron Yakin said: “As both an owner/operator and distributor of Liebherr tower cranes with over 40 years of experience, Morrow Equipment is ideally suited to provide the technical support that Simlog needs. In addition, as a founding member of the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (CCO) Tower Crane Task Force, Morrow will ensure that the new product incorporates simulation exercises suitable for preparing operators for new CCO tower crane operator certification.”
Simlog’s new Personal Tower Crane Simulator will be jointly distributed by Simlog and Morrow Equipment, with a first commercial release to be made available in the 2nd quarter of 2004, said Simlog.
