Morrow, an exclusive distributor of Leibherr tower cranes, first introduced tower crane courses in February of last year at its Tower Crane/Rigger Examiner Accreditation Workshop when it expanded its 1000 sq ft training centre.

Overview versions of the training courses will look at crane topics such as tower crane operation, hoist operation, and rigging examination.

The new tower crane operator courses lead to National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO) certification. The traditional signal person course also leads to certification.

Regular scheduled courses include operator training, service technician training, regulatory authority training. Additionally offered is an OSHA 10-hour course on construction safety.

While sample courses are provided free of charge, visitors are expected to pay for their own lodging, the company says.

Those interested in attending should contact Morrow training director Chris Smith.
