The order has a total of 48 pendulum axles. A diesel power pack unit (PPU) with hydraulic pumps supplies the energy: pressure oil for drive operations, steering as well as lifting and lowering of the vehicle platform. Also the central electronic system, which controls all functions, is accommodated in the PPU. When coupled together, both modular transporters can carry loads of around 1,000 tonnes, depending on the driving speed.

In addition to standard and circular drive, the electronically-controlled steering also allows diagonal and transverse movement. With the “carousel” steering program, it can even turn on its own axle.
