NC Services said that as part of the deal Doug Mackereth and the other owners of Broadwater had taken an equity interest in NCSG, and would work closely with NCSG to grow the crane and heavy haul services business in the Prince Rupert region.
Ted Redmond, president of NCSG said: "We will continue to provide crane services to the Prince Rupert market and plan to grow our crane and heavy haul fleet in this market to meet the needs of current customers and the proposed LNG and other projects in the region."
The Prince Rupert port is located on Canada’s west coast and is the location of a number of proposed liquefied natural gas (LNG) facilities.
