Palfinger’s newest crane is the PK 26502 Performance model, in the 26tm class.

The crane uses the double linkage system, called Power Link by Palfinger, as well as the Power Link Plus system which allows the knuckle boom to be angled upwards 15°. The Power Link Plus system opens up new applications such as reaching window and door openings or where there are height or space restrictions. In winch operation, loads can be moved more closely to the crane column.

Coupled with this geometry, the crane was continual 360 degree slewing as standard, to maximise mobility.

With a maximum of eight hydraulic extensions the crane has a hydraulic outreach of 21.3m. Other features include return oil utilisation integrated in the extension system, which increases working speed by 30 per cent.

The electronic system, control valve and hoses are all enclosed for protection. Load-holding valves are fitted as standard on the elevating, knuckle boom and extension cylinders, as well as on the slewing gear.
