To coincide with the start of the construction season, BKL Baukran Logistik GmbH presents a completely new self-erecting crane. With a 20.7-metre hook height and a 30-metre radius, the CM 301 bottom-slewing crane rounds off BKL System Cattaneo’s portfolio of construction cranes with an integral chassis. Thanks to the optimized assembly and 25 km/h or optional 80 km/h axle, the crane can be transported quickly from site to site, making it operational in next to no time.
New self-erecting crane: the mobile CM 301 takes the fleet to a whole new level.
Featuring a 30-metre radius, BKL System Cattaneo’s new hydraulic crane is even more versatile – the CM 301 was especially designed for carpenters and roofers. The bottom-slewing crane is easy to handle, with a variable hook height of up to 20.7 metres and a maximum load capacity of 2.5 tonnes. Lifting 600 kilos at the tip of its boom, it effortlessly places building materials onto any roof. The 2-fall technology enables a higher handling rate.
The BKL System Cattaneo fleet of cost-effective roofing cranes now consists
of three mobile self-erecting cranes, including the brand new CM 301 with a
30-metre radius.
True to the philosophy “Need a lift? We keep it simple.”, BKL and the design engineers at Cattaneo s.p.A. have perfected both the assembly process and the inbuilt axle, available in two speeds, 25 km/h or 80 km/h. Another new feature is the combined drawbar with king pin, allowing for transport as a trailer crane or as a semi-trailer. For projects without a site power supply, the crane can also be operated with 230 V.
The CM 301 is now available to rent or purchase from BKL. Seven types of crane: BKL System Cattaneo has the right solution for every building site.
The BKL System Cattaneo comprises seven high-performance, robust, bottom-slewing cranes.
The powerhouse is the CM 415 lattice tower crane, whose hook height of 31.5 metres, maximum load capacity of 5 tonnes and 41- metre radius puts it in the 60 tonne-metre category.
The medium class comprises the three stationary hydraulic cranes CM 90S4, CM 350 and CM 300, offering radii from 30 to 41 metres, hook heights of 23 to 25 metres and amaximum load capacity of 3 or 4 tonnes.
In the mobile self-erecting crane segment, customers can choose between the CM 221A, the optimized CM 271 and the CM 301. Especially developed for roofing and carpentry projects, the cranes have a radius of 22, 27 or 30 metres and come with an integral 25 km/h low-speed or optional 80 km/h high-speed axle.
