He assumes full responsibility of the UK operation and plans to grow and develop the business in the UK and Ireland. Jake joins from Liebherr where he has been responsible for the tower crane division in the UK and Ireland since 2015. Before this, Jake gathered experience as UK sales manager for Danish lorry loader manufacturer HMF, starting in 2006.

Jake is looking forward to the new challenges: “I’m extremely pleased to join Böcker, they have an excellent reputation for high quality products made in Germany and recognise the importance of having outstanding customer service. Over the next couple of weeks, I look forward to meeting our customers, some of which I know well from my previous role.”

Alexander Böcker, executive director of Böcker, said: “The Böcker UK subsidiary was started just over two years ago and there is a clear commitment and support from us for Jake to continue the development of our business in the UK and Ireland. We are already looking forward to welcoming new customers in the future.”

Böcker has already strengthened their customer support with the appointment of an experienced service engineer, Paul Cartner, who was previously with Hiab.
