The Yellow Crane Pages website has launched. It is an interactive map listing crane rental companies and their equipment. Being listed is free. It is designed to help people looking to rent a crane find the equipment they need via location and search filters. Crane rental companies are also able to put their equipment up for sale on the platform.
The Yellow Crane Pages covers a range of lifting equipment, from telescopic and lattice boom cranes to mobile tower cranes, trucks with cranes (50tm upwards), mini/spider-cranes, indoor lifting equipment, harbour cranes, and even crane vessels.
If the equipment for rent is emissions-free this is also indicated.
According to the site’s creator, Harm Adams, who is based in Pfullendorf, Germany, at present Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Luxemburg, The Netherlands and Denmark are covered extensively by the map. France is currently in progress. The focus for the next two years is to get Europe completed, says Adams.
Adams also runs the Ditzj.de, a photo site focussing on knuckleboom cranes and heavy haulage, which he has run since 2003.
