Spanish tower crane manufacturer Comansa has established a new presence in Singapore and Germany.
In Singapore, Access Systems Technology (AST) is representing Comansa and has acquired a fleet of about 120 cranes in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia by buying about 60 Comansa cranes from contractors plus 32 units from former distributor Eccon Machinery, and some towers from Wolff’s now-closed Singapore rental operation and Manta’s small fleet in Malaysia. AST also has what it claims is the largest fleet of passenger hoists in Southeast Asia, with more than 80 Alimaks in Singapore alone.
In Germany Comansa has taken a majority holding in a new joint venture, Linden Comansa Deutschland, with Munich-based rental and service company Mohr.
