Bay Crane Service of New York, USA and Cropac Equipment of Toronto, Canada have been appointed distributors of the Herkules Portable Crane, which is built by STC Scantech (Thailand).

They join Manitowoc Southeastern and Webb Crane in the North American network of Herkules distributors.

Bay Crane’s first order, due for delivery this month, is for the first RK11-311 MkII to be built. This model is equipped with rubber crawler tracks, Scanreco remote control and a fly jib. Remote control is for the crawler base only, not for lifting operations. The tracks are used for moving the unit around a site, not for pick and carry applications; outriggers need to be deployed for lifting. Scandinavian dealer Europakranar Svenska has also ordered the retrofitting of a remote controlled crawler base to its existing crane.
