The HSP2810 allows infinitely variable controlled flow in either or both directions. The HSP 2818 has an integral check valve to allow infinitely variable controlled flow in one direction, and free flow in the other. Both models use a tapered valve passing through a fixed orifice to vary the flow rate. A threaded stem with a hand wheel controls the height of the valve, and a locknut is provided on the threaded stem to lock the flow setting. Both valves can be mounted in line. Each model is available with port connections of 1/4in, 3/8in, 1/2in or 3/4in. The largest sizes permit variable flow of up to 80l/m (litres per minute), and the maximum operating pressure for all sizes is 350 bar. The check valve in the HSP2818 has a cracking pressure of 0.20 bar, and permits free flow of up to 110l/m.
Both valves are zinc-plated and passivated for maximum protection, and the stem is stainless steel with viton seals. Maximum overall height, with the stem fully open, is 104mm for the largest size of both models.
