Nils-Erik Häggström is new managing director of hoist manufacturer Alimak AB, based in Skellefteå, Sweden.
He joined on 1 January from electronics company Lövånger Elektronik, where has was also manging director. His earlier professional experience includes a two-year period as production manager of Hägglund Drives where he was responsible for logistics, purchasing, two product workshops and 180 employees. Prior to that, he spent 13 years with Skellefteå based Bacho-Hydrauto, suppliers of hydraulic cylinders and valves, in various positions ranging from production technique to business area manager with responsibility for production as well as marketing.
Häggström is 47 years old and has a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Luleå.
