Mannesmann Dematic Mobile Cranes has renamed its range of telescopic cranes, with the designation of each model defining its lifting capacity in tonnes.
Thus the AC 2000 is now the AC 650, the AC 155 becomes the AC 50, the AC 75 changes to be the AC 25, and so on.
If an existing model is changed or revised, an index number is added to the basic designation, as for example with the AC 40-1.
The designations for Demag’s lattice boom cranes remain unchanged.
