In the USA, Southern Industrial Constructors, based in Raleigh, North Carolina, has taken over The Crane Company in Cayce, South Carolina .
The Crane Company owners Ted Price and Mike Garvey were approaching retirement age and wanted to put their company into the hands of someone who would continue to grow it, according to Southern Industrial vice president Rocky Springer.
Southern Industrial already has already added equipment to a new office near Columbia, South Carolina that will offer all of Southern Industrial’s services, including crane and rigging services, turnkey plant relocation, plant maintenance, and industrial mechanical and electrical construction.
