Paltronic 50, which includes a check-back module as standard and at no extra cost, uses “Paldiag” crane software to allow operating levers to be assigned control functions according to individual requirements. In future, said Palfinger, it would be possible to define the maximum speeds of the individual functions and individually program start/stop acceleration ramps.
The company added: “Safety is particularly important to Palfinger. For this reason it will be possible to select mandatory ‘two-hand combinations’ per function. This means that the crane operator has to activate at least two buttons in order to be able to carry out certain manoeuvres. In addition, the maximum speed of the different crane movements can be reduced in three stages.”
The remote control systems, which have a full warranty lasting 24 months, can be supplied with a second receiver to enable additional equipment such as hydraulic extending outriggers to be incorporated.
