Online crane rental platform MyCrane says it has bolstered its business in India with the appointment of Mumbai-based Ashishkumar Tiwari as sales director, India.

Tiwari has two decades of professional experience in India, working closely with the construction industry, as well as engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) clients. His career highlights include holding the post of senior manager, plant and machinery for Reliance Industries Limited, India’s largest public company.

“India is proving to be one of the most receptive markets for our vision to digitalise the construction industry and help clients work more productively, safely and sustainably,” said Andrei Geikalo, MyCrane founder and CEO. “We are delighted to welcome Ashish to our expanding team and his contributions are already proving invaluable.”

In less than a year MyCrane says it has registered many of India’s biggest industrial companies as customers. Recent supplier registrations include Tiong Woon, one of Asia’s largest heavy lift equipment owners.

Ashishkumar Tiwari, sales director, MyCrane India, said: “There is strong demand for cranes across the country, much of it driven by wind energy projects. With lifting equipment in such high demand, MyCrane has an even more important role to play in helping our clients secure the cranes they need. I look forward to contributing to the digital transformation underway in our industry.”
