Favelle Favco has released preliminary details of its biggest telescopic crawler crane to date, the 60 US ton (55t) rated Favco 60T.
Favco crawler cranes are based on Caterpillar excavator modules. The 60T incorporates both the upper and lower of a Cat 325 excavator, which is the same base unit that was used on the Favco 50T that the new model replaces.
The telescopic boom of the 60T extends from 10m to 32m (33ft to 106ft). maximum fly jib is 7.6m (25ft).
Preliminary charts indicate that the crane can lift 12t at 10m, 4.6t at 20m and 2.5t at maximum working radius of 28m.
