Potain has more than 20 tower cranes working on Singapore’s Sengkang New Town project, which involves construction of 95,000 dwellings.
Contractor Evan Lim is using the first two Potain MD 345s in Singapore, and two MD 285s on five residential towers. The cranes were supplied by local Potain distributor Manta Equipment.
Lifting duties include placing 5t precast concrete panels. The 16-storey blocks are approaching completion and the contract includes a six-storey car park.
The new town will have a high density residential area with an integrated town centre.
