Contractor Birse Civils, aided by an 800t capacity Liebherr LTM 1800 from Ainscough Crane Hire, removed a redundant pedestrian bridge over the A1 road at Doncaster during a night time operation last month. The LTM 1800, supported by two 300t cranes and two smaller service cranes, lifted the steel bridge out in sections.
