CIgus (Cologne) has developed the multi-axis flexible energy supply system Triflex R especially for demanding robot applications in harsh industrial environments. A product family of nearly 100 components is now available to cover every scenario - from big welding robots to small palletising robots. This includes various styles and dimensions, accessories and, if required, special robot cables from the “Chainflex” product range, which now includes750 cables specifically designed for dynamic energy supply systems.Ready to be installed, completely pre-harnessed hose packages for robots (‘ReadyChain”) are also available. Igus said it has noticed a trend in that direction. A light version has also become available recently.
