Working with scientists at the Pyongyang Elevator Designing Institute, they are said to have designed each element of the crane according to the results of mock-up tests.

Scientists at the Pyongyang University of Construction and Building Materials Production in North Korea have claimed that their horizontal jib tower crane design is now being manufactured at the Pyongyang Elevator Factory.
