He says that the company has allocated a budget of CAN $45m (US $40m) to buy new equipment – all terrains and some crawlers. “Right now we are talking to Liebherr,” he said – 75% of the firm’s fleet is Liebherr. The company has 75 cranes, six of them crawlers.
It Northwest Capital’s first crane rental firm. “Our goal is to add to it – to use it as a platform company and add additional companies to it,” Northwest Capital partner John Jacobs told Cranes Today. He manages the company with partners Perot Bissell and Bradford Creswell.
