A new, rugged 30t-capacity telescopic mobile crane from Sennebogen follows the growing trend for ‘nose down’ compact machines, in the style of city cranes from Kato, Kobelco and other Japanese manufacturers and, in Europe, Mannesmann Dematic’s AC 25 and AC 40-1.
Sennebogen’s 630M is designed more for rough terrain use than similar machines. It has a continuously adjustable four-section boom which reaches 26m, but measures just 7.4m when fully retracted. With the boom fully extended it lifts 9t at a 6m radius, and it can travel with a load. A 13m lattice jib extends reach to 38m. Tail radius is 3m.
The manufacturer says the all-wheel steering makes it ideal for inner-city job sites, such as rehabilitating existing buildings, and for underground railway construction sites.
