OFFSHORE Crane Engineering Ltd (OCE), based in Scotland, has set up a rental service for knuckleboom marine and deck cranes.
The rental fleet cranes are designed for handling equipment around the deck on support, survey and fishing vessels, with the smallest being capable of lifting around 1t at a 6m radius.
OCE has more than 20 cranes available for rent, ranging from 6tm to 65tm. As well as service back up, OCE is also offering either an operator or training for customers’ own personnel.
OCE managing director Scott Glatley said: ‘Crane rental is becoming a more popular solution with our clients. We find that our rental service is particularly appealing to those customers with a short term requirement for deck handling equipment where purchase would be prohibitively expensive.’
