Omaha Standard Palfinger appoints dealers
25 February 2011Palfinger's US subsidiary Omaha Standard has begun to appoint US dealers for its PAL Pro Mechanic service vehicles with telescopic cranes. So far, five dealers have been selected to provide servicing and sales on the line in their region.
Omaha Standard is a member of the Palfinger North America Group. It is headquartered in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Allegheny Ford Isuzu Truck Sales, of Pittsburgh, will be representing the company on the East Coast. It has established separate management, sales personnel and a three-acre facility for the new vehicles.
In the Midwest, the dealer elected was Kranz Automotive of St. Louis.
The two West coast outposts are Carco Industries, located in Tualatin, Oregon, and Truck Well of Anchorage, Alaska.
The southern supplier is Palfleet Truck Equipment of Birmingham, Alabama.
The dealers will represent the PAL Pro Mechanic service vehicles line and provide support. The range has lifting capacities of 5.85–11.70tm and hydraulic boom reach of 8.8m, three different truck bodies intended for rugged applications.
Palfinger made a separate announcement naming Xander Vooys to fill a newly created product specialist role for Epsilon cranes, cable lifts and hooklifts at its New Jersey office.
