The victim has been named as Josh Dawe, and employee of Area Erectors. McLean County coroner Beth Kimmerling told local papers that Dawe was working on trusses in an aerial lift, when it was struck by the crane boom. She added, “It appears to me to be an equipment failure on the part of the crane, but the crane did not tip over in any direction.”
