Konecranes UK has picked up three orders in recent months together worth in the region of £1m ($1.8m).
It is supplying an 80t Goliath crane with a 31.1m span to Rocksavage Power Station in Runcorn, Cheshire. Also in the UK, a new factory in Halifax for Weirs Valves & Controls will have six Konecranes electric overhead travelling cranes ranging from 5t to 15t capacity.
Konecranes UK is also building a 12.5t overhead travelling crane for the Barbados Agriculture Management Company’s sugar cane handling facility in Bridgetown, Barbados.
