Both cranes are equipped with up to five hydraulic extensions. The PK 8501 has a lifting moment of 7.9tm and a hydraulic outreach of 14m, while the PK 10501 has a lifting moment of 10.1tm and a hydraulic outreach of 14.2m.

It is the first time cranes in the 8 and 10tm class have been equipped with the innovative HPLS technology. Palfinger said reduced speed makes it easier to position heavy loads more precisely. The larger stabiliser spread of up to 5.6m ensures added stability.

Fitted with a clamshell grab, earth auger or working basket, both cranes are, Palfinger said, multi-functional all-rounders. The cranes can also be mounted on any commercial truck chassis.
