UK power transmission specialist Cross & Morse has extended its range of timing belt drives.
Claimed benefits include lower noise, higher efficiency, a more compact size and lower maintenance requirements. The Panther range of belts is said to have up to three times the torque capacity of standard types.
Teeth on the high torque belts have a parabolic profile designed for maximum load capacity, efficiency and quiet running. The company says that a full range of pulleys, with up to 192 teeth, is available from stock.
