Thames Barrier Pier Cranes Replacement.
The supply and commissioning of seven electrically powered cranes to aid maintenance and repair to the Thames Barrier. The cranes should allow for lifting duty on winch of at least but preferably exceeding Safe Working Load of 15 tonnes at 3 m radius and 1 tonne at 21 m radius. The cranes will be pedestal mounted, preferably be composed of 2 stage telescopic boom, have man-riding capability and withstand marine environment. Standard products close to our requirements might also be considered.
Estimated value excluding VAT: between 2,000,000 and 2,300,000 GBP
