The new crane has 1.5m hydraulic boom extension and three height settings. It can rotate through 340 degrees, allowing for handling of loads from both the front and rear of the vehicle on which it is mounted. Customers have a choice between an electronic winch (fitted as standard) or an optional hydraulic winch.
The crane comes fitted with a 6m rope, which can be used for below ground level lifting. For jobs such as deep-hole utility repairs, where deeper lifting is required, longer ropes can be supplied. The Swing Lift Foldaway 500 can be fitted with a socket mount. This means that it can be easily moved between vehicles, allowing customers to maximise their return on investment.
A range of features make it easy for operators to use the crane safely and efficiently. It can be controlled remotely using a pendant or optional radio, allowing operators to stand clear of the lifting and lowering area when handling heavy loads. The crane also features a patented overload protection device, automatic breaking in case of power loss, circuit overload protection and overwind protection.
The Swing Lift Foldaway 500 can be customised for a range of different user needs. Options include alternative pillar heights and manual or hydraulic support legs. The crane can also be supplied without hydraulic slew, where customers do not need this feature.
