The contract includes supplying two 1,450t-capacity load cells underneath the derrick footings, two 1,250t-capacity load cells on the rope drums that raise and lower each side of the double boom, a potentiometer for measuring boom angle, and two smaller auxiliary load cells. PIAB also engineered the control electronics for the entire overload system.

Offshore contractor J Ray McDermott sold the ship to a Russian oil conglomerate in 2004 for $44m. It was formerly known as the DLB 1601.
