A Valla 20E electric-powered mobile crane is helping install oversized aluminium anodised panels and the supporting sub-structure to hospitality boxes at Wembley Stadium in London, UK.
The Valla 20E has 2,000kg of mobile lifting power. Operating both inside and out, it features an onboard battery pack, and is therefore unfettered by trailing lines to a mains power supply. The combination of 180-degree ’tiller’ steering and an outrigger-free compact chassis means that the crane can be manoeuvred quickly and easily, according to Valla.
The company added: “Operators achieve precise positioning of components using the crane’s forward and reverse gears and double section extending telescopic boom. With a gross weight of just 1.950kg, and featuring solid non-marking rubber tyres, the 20E is ideal for operating on fragile floors, and is frequently lifted in and out of applications with a hoist from a tower crane at Wembley.”
