Wire rope producer Bridon Ropes has published a series of technical pocket guides available free of charge to distributors and customers.
The guides cover rope selection, rope lubricants, and breaking loads. They come in a pocket-sized wallet with an accompanying notebook, and include charts and check lists advising on products for specific applications.
Bridon said that it is planning a further seven titles to add to the series and has also launched a range of posters featuring crane applications. It also produced a CD-Rom catalogue a few years ago that was widely distributed with Cranes Today magazine.
