Arcomet, currently distributor for Potain in the UK, is to distribute the company’s full range of tower cranes in Ireland. Frans Vanwinkel, MCG VP of sales for the EMEA region, said, “Developing the Irish market is a key priority for MCG, and a natural progression from our successful relationship with Arcomet in the UK. The new distribution agreement is part of our overall strategy to be close to all of our customers globally.”
Dirk Theyskens, MD of Arcomet Group, commented, “We’ve noticed quite a dramatic change in Ireland’s cityscapes in recent times. We expect the Potain product to do very well there.” Belgium-based Arcomet is one of the world’s largest tower crane rental companies, with fleets in France, Germany, Italy, The Netherlands and the UK, and a US partnership with P&J.
