The entire convoy reached a length of around 35m with the heaviest combination of 2+4 axles, 65t locomotive weighed a total of 101t. Rails had been embedded in the deck of the MDEL TP so the locomotives could easily be loaded and unloaded.
Premat transports trains using Nicolas vehicles
STP Premat used ten heavy-duty vehicles from Nicolas on the transportation of 50t locomotives to a railway repair workshop facility in Saint Avold. The locomotives were loaded on the transport vehicle in Les Mureaux and were taken a distance of 424km on the main roads in the direction of Saint Avold.
