Maxim Crane Works of the USA has promoted Al Bove from regional vice president of the central and western regions to executive vice president of operations.
In this newly developed role, Bove is responsible for day-to-day operations of Maxim’s crane, excavation and marine business units.
Maxim chief executive Jeff Fenton said: ‘Al’s proven leadership and management skills have been a great asset to the company and I am sure he will be invaluable in this role for the company for years to come.’ Bove is one of the founding members of the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO) and the Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association (SC&RA). Bove will continue to be based out of Maxim’s Phoenix, Arizona office.
Maxim has also promoted Arthur Innamorato Jr. to executive vice president – general manager and business development.
In this new role, he retains his responsibilities as general counsel of Maxim and expands his already active role in mergers, acquisitions, strategic business initiatives and operational process improvements.
Fenton commented: ‘Art has been the key driver of the company’s acquisitions growth and has played a leadership role in a number of the company’s improvements efforts, including receivable collection and sales development and management.’ Innamorato was also involved in the formation of the Anthony-Van Seumeren joint venture (AVS) which specialises in the heavy lift segment of the crane industry.
