Italian tower crane manufacturer Carlo Raimondi will unveil two more models in its line of flat top city cranes at the Intermat show in Paris in May.
Raimondi unveiled its first flat top city crane at the SAIE exhibition in Bologna last October. At Intermat will be the second and third models in the range.
The MR 36+3 lifts 1t at the end of its 36m jib, and a maximum of 4t. ‘It is a crane which is aimed at those customers who require a small tower crane but are not entirely comfortable with the big self erectors,’ says managing director Eugene Torello. The MR 108+3 is a bigger model with a 50m jib, a 2.4t jib end load and maximum load of 8t in its strongest configuration. This size of crane is particularly popular in France, Torello says, and there is a replacement market for older cranes.
Also on show in Paris will be the established MR 210, a conventional top slewer with a 66m jib. New, however (except to those who were at SAIE), is the high visibility rounded cabin that Raimondi has added.
